Awards 2017 - Kaizen competition


Kewaunee India participated in Kaizen competition for Safety & Environment organized by ABK AOTS DOSOKAI, Tamilnadu Centre on 13.05.2017 at their Chennai ABK center. Kewaunee India Production team had selected “Sludge free Pretreatment"as their Kaizen project and demonstrated along with other major companies like Godrej, TAFE, TVS, L&T, LUCAS TVS etc. A total of 97 companies and 400 plus Kaizens were presented to the selection committee. At the end, Kewaunee India team was crowned the Platinum Award (second highest next to Diamond award) followed by Gold and Silver category.

Team was mentored by Mr.Harikrishna Rao – General Manager and Kaizen was presented to selection committee by Mr.Annamalai - Manager Production, Mr.Sasikumar – Relationship Catalyst, Mr.Narasimharaju – Supervisor, Pretreatment / Powder coating and Mr.Kashinath – Powder coat department associate. Mr.David M. Rausch – President & CEO, Kewaunee USA & Mr.Sathyamurthy - MD & VP-International Operations congratulating the team.



Awards 2017 - APEA Award


Mr. Sathya was conferred with Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award (APEA) 2017 INDIA on Apr 2017 at a gala ceremony held at hotel JW Marriott Aerocity, New Delhi, by Enterprise Asia (a non-governmental organization for Entrepreneurship). The ceremony was attended by Central/State Ministers, Ambassadors, past winners across Asia and 400+ successful entrepreneurs/business leaders.


Awards 2017 - CII Award


Kewaunee was honoured by CII with the "Active Customer Engagement" award as part of "CII Award for Customer Obsession -2016" in the inaugural edition held on June 16, 2017, at New Delhi. Kewaunee received this honour in the category ' Large Business Organization – Manufacturing Sector”. Mr. Gopal (National Manager) & Mr. Sasi Kumar B. (Relationship Catalyst – Kewaunee Global Customer Support) seen receiving Award from Mr. R.C. Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Govt. of India.

Recognitions were based on the assessment made by a team of qualified assessors from CII. A comprehensive, rigorous assessment process was designed in line with internationally practiced assessment process. The assessment process involved submitting a detailed application document as per the Model Criteria. Based on the outcome of the macro level assessment clearance, onsite assessment has been carried out to further assess the maturity of practices and performance, in line with the requirements of the framework.
